Myosotis is, of course, a pen-name.
Its meaning is “forgetmenot” and it is also
incidentally the name of my favorite flower.
So, to me, it was an obvious choice. Simple, pretty, memorable.
I’m just a woman in her late twenties claiming back parts of myself through writing.
A part which I thought was lost, or that had never really existed.
The ‘gifted child’ I once was got replaced by
an insecure adult; the overflowing imagination which
used to give me wings to fly became
an anchor drowning me out of reality.
I lacked a voice, and found one through writing.
I hope anyone who reads my stories will find their own voice,
a part of themselves, and claim it as their own again.
Just as I have.
I hope these flawed characters help you see something of
yourself you want to change and improve – or not.
Maybe they will help you find some part of yourself to love even more.

The title of the series really puts emphasis on the key aspects of the books: intense smutt, secrets to uncover, and spells and curses to undo.
Hexes & Exes, Potions & Arsons and the upcoming sequels are centered around a group of witches and wizards living in a hidden society parallel to the human world.
Some are professors, other famous athletes, journalists, detective and headmasters... yet they all eventually have one thing in common: a secret to protect.
What starts off as a 'normal' rivals to lovers story centered around a wizarding tournament evolves into a much larger plot: secrets, ancient curses, dangerous objects that need protecting...
Lee Strix, our protagonist, is an established witch and professor - this is not a story about chosen ones, discovering powers or falling into a magical conflict...
Lee is an adult, a woman capable of making decisions on her own... and who makes lots of mistakes along the way, mistakes from which she has to learn in order to come to terms with herself, her fears, and her heart's deepest desires.
The other characters that evolve around her are similar, yet so different. Each has its own demons to face - inner or outer ones. Each has a past riddled with shadows... and these shadows are so deeply interconnected that their stories become one overarching one.
As I said, the key words are SEX, SECRETS & SPELLS.
